Three Cheers for Our Exceptional Volunteers

Wikipedia, the popular online collaborative encyclopedia, defines volunteering as, “An altruistic activity that is intended to promote goodness or improve human quality of life. In return, this activity can produce a feeling of self-worth and respect. There is no financial gain involved for the individual. Volunteering is renowned for skill development, socialization, and fun. Volunteering may have positive benefits for the volunteer as well as for the persons or community served.”

Our WOW! Magic culture, is not only created by our exceptional Colleagues but also by our exceptional Community Members, who have volunteered their time here at American Training, some on an ongoing basis and others during our signature WOW! Magic events. Their thoughtful and  appreciated efforts truly help us to bring out the best in every one that we touch! Because they know and we know… that Life Matters.

Here at American Training, we believe that volunteering not only promotes one’s own well-being, but the well-being of those served as well as the community as a whole. And as supportive, active and contributing members of your community, we would be proud and honored to have you volunteer for us too.

We are always seeking volunteers to help in every aspect of our WOW! Magic. This could include providing services like landscaping or painting, working directly with those we serve to make a difference in their lives, or even sharing a particular skill with us. The following are examples of ways you could come and sprinkle a taste of your own WOW! Magic into the lives of our Guests, Residents, & Students.
