American Training Goes PINK

Pink5October is recognized nationally as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This annual campaign was born in 1985 as a partnership between the American Cancer Society and Imperical Chemical Industries, a maker of anti-breast cancer drugs. Its purpose is to raise awareness in an effort to promote early detection in women and to support Breast Cancer charities in their raising of funds to find a cure to end this devastating disease.

On Monday October 20th Day Services sent out a flyer inviting all of our Guests, Students, and Colleagues to join them on Friday October 24th in support of this noble cause and to show support for those battling this disease by coming to work wearing their finest pink attire. Friday morning arrived and so did the American Training family, answering the call, decked from head to toe in a wide spectrum of pink ranging from soft pink to hot pink to neon… all coming together in a grand show of support.

The energy was amazing.

Pink2In true American Training WOW! Magic style, Guests, Students and Colleagues gathered together in the lobby of 6 Campanelli Drive to send a shout out show of support and a very special birthday message to a family member of a Colleague, who is bravely battling this disease and whose birthday it happened to be on our Wear Pink Day.
