Green Thumbs and Garden Growth

It’s safe to say we have a few green thumbs in our Specialized Housing homes. Look at what we’re growing!

After the volunteers from St. John’s Prep built us a few new garden boxes this spring, we planted vegetables galore, and, just a few short months later, they’re starting to grow!

Below, we’ve got pictures from a few of our homes. Check out our beginnings of lettuce, tomatoes, 3 types of squash, onions, peppers, kale, terere, cherry tomatoes, celery, cucumbers, a variety of herbs, and more! And check out our newly minted farmer, Amy B., toiling in the recently planted gardens at Mass. Ave.

Stay tuned! We’ll be harvesting our homegrown veggies soon!
