The Safety of our passengers is our first priority. Everything else we do is designed to bolster our ability to deliver a safe and comfortable ride for each and every passenger.
We are proud to maintain one of the newest fleets in operation throughout the area. That means you can have confidence that the latest safety and energy efficient equipment is built into each vehicle right from the factory. Whether it be heavy duty shock absorbers to guarantee a smooth and stable ride, strengthened hand bars to provide easier and safer entering and exiting the vehicle, or auxiliary rear heating and air-conditioning, we put each passenger′s safety, comfort and well-being ahead of everything else. We even equip many of our vehicles with DVD players to add to each passenger′s FUN and Entertainment.
A cutting edge dispatch center, with two-way radio communications and e-pads on each vehicle allows us to know where each passenger is at any time during their ride to and from home.
Before being hired, all our Drivers and Monitors are first interviewed to ensure that their attitude and commitment best fit our WOW! Magic. They are screened and carefully CORI checked. Then their personal driving record is cleared through the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles.
Drivers and Monitors are also trained in Defensive Driving Techniques, Wheelchair Assistance Training, Human Rights Training for Passengers, First-aid/CPR Training and Vanway's unique and exclusive WOW! Magic Training as part of our outrageously memorable customer service training program. All this education and training is geared toward assuring each passenger that they are getting the highest quality service. Random checks of both Drivers and Monitors are frequently made in order to ensure our passengers are always in good hands.
And finally, each Driver and Monitor is given a uniform. This gesture, along with our custom vehicle signage, is one more safeguard we put into place to reassure passengers and parents that when their van arrives it is driven by a highly trained member of our American Training/Vanway family.Contact Robin Gazelian
